my baby is two and a half month old baby, he is sleeping 5 to 6 hrs continuously in night time but in day time he is sleeping for 45 minutes only each time, what is the reason and it is ok to sleep 5 to 6 hrs continuously without feeding? and why he is not sleeping more time in day?

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist3 years agoA. Dear mum, sleeping pattern varies from baby to baby and from time to time. You need not wake up your baby for feeding. You should feed your baby on demand. If baby is passing urine more than 7 times in 24 hours and baby is active, alert then baby is receiving adequate feed.
