Q.
my baby is of 7 months old, he is getting blocked nose from night and waking up several times. it's like he is getting blocked nose in mid of night and continuing till morning. he will be crying and unable to sleep sometimes. we will be giving nasoclear for relief and sometime steam. but how to avoid this stuffy or blocked nose on first place? please suggest.

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl3 years agoA. block nose is problematic. cold and cough is viral mostly due to the season change . Start giving steam inhalation indirect just sit with baby and steam on in surrounding .
Cough if too much only then start syp for it after examination . no foods can cause cold because it s an infection .
