Q.

my baby is now 20month old she is not trying to talk as her age babies will try.. she just call mammy,daddy,ball,only few words and she will not concentration on what I teach her what should I do

A. regarding speech baby starts to speak mono syllable by 6 to 7 months of age then by syllable words come by 9 to 10 months of age then by 12 to 14 months of age baby say two to three words followed by jargon speech at 15-16 months . child can start saying simple sentences by two yearkrs . do more interaction with the child so that he can learn to speak sentences properly.. if the speech does not comes even by three years of age you need to consult your doctor for a proper assessment of the child .

A. Hi mom If ur baby is making eye contact and understand what you are saying, follow your instructions and speak few words then no need to worry. some babies they start to talk late. Take care and all the best
