my baby is now 17 he has wet cough m giving moxikind cv forte syr stil not curing what should I give

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with bcanti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.
if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

mam, instead of medicine ,it is best to give Turmeric milk or you can prepare kadha with warm water,Tulsi leaves,pinch of salt and Turmeric powder ,give it in 6 tbsp quantity twice in a day.
