My baby is not passing stool without medication

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. it is totally normal for small children less than 6 months of age not to pass stool for 10 days also.
it is also normal if they are passing stool more than 6 or 7 times per day.
if the consistency of the stool is Semi solid to solid there is no needf to worry about the frequency as well as the colour (the colour can range from yellow brown green to black) of the stool.c
also straining while passing urine and stool is normal.
Do burping for 15 to 20 minutes

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 7 m old boy3 years agoA. If your baby is only being breastfed they may not poop every day. This is because their body can use up almost all the components of breast milk for nutrition and there is very little left that needs to be eliminated. After the first 6 weeks or so they can go even a week or two without a poop.
