A. it is advisable to continue your efforts in feeding the child. many times it take more efforts from the parents to make the child eat nutritious food. so kindly go for different recipes and flavours which might improve the appetite of the child. at the same time it is also important to meet your doctor to rule out nutritional deficiency which might be the cause of lossx of appetite. give juice fruits and water which will improve appetite and regular physical activity.

A. For the first twenty-four hours or so of any illness that causes vomiting, keep your child off solid foods, and encourage her to suck or drink small amounts of electrolyte solution (ask your pediatrician which one), clear fluids such as water, sugar water (1/2 teaspoon [2.5 ml] sugar in 4 ounces [120 ml] of water), ...every 15–20 minutes; shorter but more frequent breastfeeding. For kids: 1–2 tbsp. every 15 minutes of ORS, ice chips, flat ginger ale or lemon-lime soda, clear broth, ice pops, or diluted juice.Try ginger juice and honey : Ginger works well for nausea and vomiting. Grind a small piece of ginger, crush the juice out of the grated ginger and add a little honey to make it delicious. Keep on giving this mixture to your child twice or thrice a day. Mint juice : Grind some fresh mint leaves and extract the juice.
