Q.
my baby is four months old and having cough. can i give suventus Jr syrup. if yes how much should i give

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor accordigung to the type of cough.
if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repceated after 6 hours again if required .

Well I am we do not recommended to give any medicine to the child and what are you do small currently if there is an issue kindly talk to your paediatrician if they advise you to go ahead with his medicine then you continue as you shouldn’t be giving it to Richa andWrite Your Answer Here
