Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy2 years agoA. hiccups in big children usually occur due to excessive laughing, belching, acidity as well as gas in the stomach and intestine of the child.z
it is important to give plenty of water to drink as well as easily digestible food made at home.
diversion of the child also helps.
it is self limiting problemz and will decrease but if it is occurring again and again then it is advisable to complete a course of antacid.
