Q.
My baby is 8 month old. She suffers from cough and cold frequently. Now, I am feeling her nose is blocked also. She have to take antibiotics for this . Any home remedies for this to improve her immunity

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough and Cold along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a feature of viral infection or seasonal flu where most of the time supportive treatment is given.
along with that coough expectorant and decongesrtant with antiallergic medicine given.
steam inhalation can be given frequently to relieve the symptoms.

keep her hydrated by giving her a spoon of lukewarm water every hour in the day time
don't use demineralized water for drinking
use simply purified water having TDS higher than 350
take sunbathing daily with her head and ears covered in the morning
