Q.

My baby is 8+ month old and she can't sleep at night due to cough.

A. at this age if there is disturbance and sleep it might be due to some type of physical disturbance or due to environmental disturbance. you have to rule out teething pain which might be causing discomfort. see for any gastric problem like gas or digestion problem (constipation/ diarrhoea) due to the food the child might be consuming which might be causing discomfort. you can give feed to thed child because sometimes due to hunger the child might not be able to sleep environmental disturbance like temperature variations which might be eitxher hot or cold weather. change in pillow or mattress. changing place of sleeping can also disturb the sleep

A. You can nebulise your child with saline water half an hour before you put your child to sleep that is definitely going to help and that is going to help in reduction of the congestion as well as will open the passages to breathe well so I think it’s going to be good that time
