My baby is 8 month old and is passing very hard stool. Remedy please.

A. hi give adequate drinking water.
skip bakery foods.
include fruits, veggies in the diet.
papaya, apple, soaked black raisins especially help in constipation.
still no improvement, consult paediatrician

please do the following things:
stop introducing new food for now.
offer fiber rich food like palak puree,prune juice , fruit like pear papaya plum banana etc to your child
keep your child well hydrated
give Massage to your child daily
give Massage on stomach in clock wise direction with firm hands.
move your child's legs in cycling motion
maintain good hygiene

A. Hi,
This is sign of constipation. Please use glycerine suppository in case of severe hard stool.
Give more fiber rich diet like mashed potatoes mashed potatoes mashed banana oats kheer etc and fluid like water, coconut water.
Try to indetify which food is causing the constipation.
