Q.
My baby is 7 months 11 days old. due to on and off cough, I had to wait for my babies 6th month vaccination which was due on 1st March. as per the chart i have missed influenza 1 and influenza2. can I get it done now or what am I supposed to do.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a progfper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.
if fever is there paracetamol can be given to redduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

Dr do not to say no for getting a vaccination done during cold or cough the only refuse to get the vaccination done if the child is suffering with fever if your child is not suffering with fever only having a seasonal cold and cough that you shouldn’t have keep or missed the vaccinationWrite Your Answer Here
