Q.
my baby is 49 days old and she will breath heavily while sleeping,is that normal? also she keeps her mouth open to breathe. is that fine?

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl4 years agoA. it's normal for baby to breathe irregular as per what has been mentioned so it all seems to be normal and fine so as of now there s no need of concern about this at all .

Try giving indirect steam inhalation to reduce the discomfort. Maintain a good personal hygiene. Continue breastfeeding your baby well on demand for better health, nutrition and hydration. Speak to your doctor for further advice.
