A. dear parent, weight of 5 kg is a normal weight for 4 months old baby, do not worry. baby should gain at least 500 grams per month on an average. for healthy weight gain, you should exclusively breastfeed till 6 months complete. At one episode of breast feeding, feed from only one breast so that baby receives fat rich hindmilk which will help in weight gain.
