my baby is 3 months old. despite repeated trials he does not latch properly and only sucks onto the tip. it's becoming very painful now. I have tried squeezing the aerola into his moth but it doesn't work.

SandhyaMom of a 8 yr 8 m old girl4 years agoA. Hi, firstly hold the baby in 30° angle position. Hold your nipple with your two fingers and make sure the Aerola is completely inside the babies mouth. You don’t have to press, baby will automatically keep it in mouth. You just have to hold him in a right position.Once the Aerola is inside baby mouth, baby will start latching properly, the pain will not be there.Always rest back and be relaxed and then feed your baby.
