Q.

My baby is 3.5 months old. he is on Breastfeed mostly but give him cow milk also 2-3 times to keep his tummy full. he has started taking long nap of 4-5 hrs during night..is it OK if I feed him only when he wakes up or should I feed in between as well ?

A. Dear ma’am, you can encourage frequent breastfeeding and cow milk is usually not advisable till one year. Regarding night feeds, yes, if the baby gets frequent feeds during the day, is active when awake, has adequate wet counts and appropriate weight gain then you can give a gap of 4-5 hours at night

A. thank you ma'am. what if baby doesn't have any gas problem or any other issue with cow milk. we add water and boil it. still is it not advisable..? pls suggest.
