my baby is 2 years 7 months she speaks mama papa cat eyes nose etc identifies all animals birds fruits but she doesn't communicate with her when she wants water when she wants food or she wants to go out is this a speech delay ??

A. I don't think it is a speech delay you have to be patient and wait for another six months it will take time for the child to be able to start communicating that well after that most of the children are able to communicate properly
