Q.

My baby is 2 months and 24 days old. Since last few days she is crying when I offer her formula milk after breastfeeding as supplement. Earlier she used to have 75-80ml formula after every breastfeeding session. Now she takes about 35-40ml formula post breastfeeding and then starts crying when offered more formula. She sleeps after that for about 2-3 hrs. She takes feed every 4 hours and passes urine more than 8 times in a day.should I be worried abt her less consumption of formula these days and crying. Why is she not taking as earlier 75-80ml? Also freq of feed has reduced too to about 6-7times a day

A. Hello dear parent! As long as your baby is active and healthy, passing adequate urine, gradually gaining weight, reaching milestones then nothing to worry. Continue feeding your baby well on demand for better health, nutrition and hydration. Speak to your doctor for further advice. Good luck and take care.
