Q.

My baby is 2 months 8 days now and from last 2–3 days he cries suddenly in middle of his sleep . We talk to him that we are here around you and then in sometime he stops crying but this is repetitive and we need to sit around him . Is this normal? What should we do to make him comfortable.

A. Crying of a Baby is mostly because of infantile colic and gas related discomfort whicguih is there commonly in night . It can be relieved by medicine like colicaid or gastica drops containing dil oil and feniel oil with semethicone. other reasons could be hunger any illness, nasal blockage, ear pain, diaper rash and sometimes more conditions which needs to be ruled out and managed accordingly .
