Q.

My baby is 14 months old. She stands on toes only. she doesn't want to stand on heels. A stand on toes is difficult to maintain her body balance. she walks with support only on toes. how to guide her to walk properly. please suggest.

A. a baby will start Sitting with support by 6 months of age and by 7 to 8 months baby will sit without support than by 9 months usually baby crawls and in 10 months baby will stand with support. After 12 to 15 months baby will start Walking independently and sometimes it may take even longer but in no case any Walker should be avoided as it can cause recurrent fall injurrry and delay in the walking because the child lacks confidence of walking independently.

A. Make your child wear socks shoes and sandals whatever is more comfortable to you but make sure that the child has sandal or shoes for a firm grip that’s how slowly this habit is going to break it is completely natural with all the kids nothing to be worried
