Loose motion are most of the time infective where it is associated with fever and vomiting and its knovwn as gastroenteritish where symptomatic treatment along with management for dehydration is required if loose motions are associated with foul smell mucous high grade fever than it could be bacterial infection which needs antibiotics treatment

When it is an infection you’ll have to go ahead with a proper course of antibiotics and milk is something that you need to stop completely because that actually aggravates lose motion so please take care of that and still if the loose motions are not in control even after course of antibiotics and you should get a stool culture test done for your child
