Q.

My baby is 10 days old and has physiological jaundice. After every feed he poops. But today he poops more than normal. His stool is green with runny yellow colour. Is it normal for a baby to have runny poop?

A. No it’s not normal so it’s better to consult your Paediatrician as vaby is very small and also expose baby to direct sunlight 30 mins a day and keep feeding your baby well

A. Hello dear parent! As long as your baby is not showing any discomfort symptoms like fussiness, foul smell or blood in stools then nothing to worry. Continue to exclusively breastfeed your baby well on demand for better health, nutrition and hydration. Speak to your doctor for further advice
