My baby is 1 year 2 months old. He doesn't respond to his name when i call him. But responds when others call his name. He makes good eye contact, points objects,responds to commands , understand simple words. Should i have to worry?

A. it is important to meet the doctor to get the child examined. milestones assessment of the dchild needs to be done which will tell whether the child is having any development ddelay or not. the child will be assessed for four major milestones that is 1.gross motor milestone 2.fine motor milestone 3.social milestone 4.language milestone.

A. Personality and Independence Your child will be more assertive at that age, and he is just discovering his personality and independence. If what you're telling him to do curbs any of these things, he may assert his independence by ignoring you
