Q.
My baby is 1 month old and here weather is too much cold. Due to that she is not able to sleep in bed but she gets good sleep when I make her sleep in lap. Please suggest

ExpertDr Mahesh PatilPaediatrician2 years agoA. Hello, your baby girl is 1 month old and she is disturbed by cold so use cotton clothes and sweaters and use room heaters if it’s needed and don’t give her a bath

you can swaddle the child to make the child comfortable
you can sing a song / lullaby
you can use a cradle or swingx
you can go for a car ride with the child
keeping the child on your shoulder you can walk briskly
you can keep txhe child in between both the legs and gently swing the legs both sides.
sleeping pattern gradually improves with increasing age of the child .
