my baby is 1 month 16 days old today and he haven't pooped in 2 days but passing gas more (7-8) than how he usually (2-4). He cry before peeing and also apply too much pressure as if he wanted to poop but can't. what to do? is it normal?

A. yes these all are normal. it is totally normal for small children less than 6 months of age not to pass stool for 10 days also. it is also normal if they are passing stool more than 6 or 7 times per day. if the consistency of the stool is Semi solid to solid there is no need to worry about the frequency as well as the colour (the colour can range from yellow brown green to black) of the stool. also straining while passing urine and stool is normal. Do burping for 15 to 20 minutes

A. Whatever you are mentioning into the question is hundred percent normal is absolutely nothing for you to be worried in this this is a very normal thing to be seen with kids for initial 6 months as the age is going to process things are going to get better but currently everything seems totally normal
