Q.

my baby have mild flat head plagiocephaly. he is 3 months old now. I'm regularly changing his sleeping position to the other side and rarely giving tummy time (he still doesn't like it, just spends 2-5min time). will it correct naturally by itself or is it too late now? I'm worried not just about the flat area but also his top of the head since I feel it's still high above the head and also elongated (like cone head). will it correct by itself or need to be treated?

A. Flat head in Babies is very common mostly on one side initially when the baby is not flipping on the sides in the first few months . so because of the continuous pressure over the soft skull bones such flattening can be there . This will become normal by itself gradually when the skull grow in size and shape with age . No musturd seed pillow or any such kind of interventionde like massage is required for the corrrction .
