My baby has severe cough and cold. His doctor is not available. Can anyone tell me what dosage should be given of Mega-CV 228.5 mg powder for oral suspension for a 13 months old baby weighing around 10.8 kg. Is 2.5 ml good? Please help ASAP

Sai Prasanthi R LMom of a 11 yr 6 m old boy4 years agoA. Hello dear parent! Please understand that the medicine you mentioned is an antibiotic abc it needs to be given only on doctor’s advice. Avoid self medication. Consult your child’s doctor for evaluation and advice. Try giving indirect steam inhalation to reduce the discomfort, add eucalyptus oil to the boiling water for better relief. Give warm water and warm freshly prepared homemade foods to your baby.
