my baby has not pooped from 5days he is 2months old he is feeding well and passing gas normally but smelly

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician2 years agoA. it's normal dear, typically breastfed babies will not poop as often because their bodies absorb most of the breast milk. going even a week without having a bowel movement is fine.. take care

meeta agarwalMom of 2 children2 years agoA. Hello, You should also call if your older baby or toddler hasn't had a bowel movement for four or five days. Constipation is rarely an issue for exclusively breastfed babies, but if your little one seems to be going longer than normal without a poop and you're concerned, there's no harm in checking in with the doc.0
