Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough in a child could be allergic , infective or due to some other cause like GERD so it needs proper valuation before giving any medication .
Primarily you can give steam inghalation to the child for tgrhe improvement before consulting your doctor.
