Q.

my baby had loose stool since 1 month, last two days I stopped giving bm and gave zerolac. now he has constipation. shud I start giving bm or continue with zerolac. and also can zerolac and bm given parallely

A. yes doctor he has lactose intolerance. I have given zerolac 2 days and motions have been controlled and now starred with constipation. my question is shud I start with breastfeeding now ,will his lactose intolerance go away.

A. there is no problem in giving zero lac h to the baby up to 1 week after 10 days also since that doesn't cause constipation loose motions must have been controlled baby may be having lactose intolerance
