Q.

My baby girl is premature born at 35 weeks she jaded to drink around 600-700 formula per day but now is only drinking 500-600 per day. Her weight is 5.3kg birth weight was 2.6kg. Is amount of feed okay? She drinks at interval of 4 hours. On demand feeding

A. Yes it’s fine. The baby usually doubles the birth weight by 5 months of age and there after will triple the weight by one year of age. It’s fine if the consumption has reduced but the baby should be content

A. Hello dear parent! Your baby is doing well. Continue feeding your baby well on demand for better health, nutrition and hydration. There should be a minimum weight gain of 400gms to 500gms in a month. Regularly massage your baby with Babyhug cold pressed coconut oil.
