my baby doesn't poop for 2-3 days and have to give lactulose to make her stool soft and then she poops. doc mentioned that her constipation problem will get sorted once we start giving solids so I started giving her purees and giving her papaya in pureed form and gave her pureed daal today but still she did not poop. do u have to give her lactulose again? baby is 6 month old

After introducing solids also some may constipate due to digestional changes (change of liquid to semi solids).>Don't worry give puriees mashed banana, papaya puriee, steamed and mashed potatoes, carrot, apple pear cures constipation. Do Tummy massage daily, apply warm coconut oil or warm castor oil on baby's tummy and gently massage for 10 minutes in clockwise direction with fingers instead giving suppositories do tummy massage daily.
