my baby boy is 8 months 17 days old I checked the fever under the under arms it's 99.2 is it normal can anyone tell me.

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 6 yr old girl4 years agoA. yes it's almost ok but keep a check. baby can feel warm at forehead and stomach . It s normal . Fever is an immune response and when Armpit temperature is above 99 Fahrenheit . Can give calpol for fever and see a doctor soon if not better .

Vritika AroraMom of a 5 yr 3 m old child4 years agoA. Hi dear mom If in underarm it is 99.2 then the body temperature is 100.2 which is fever. U can give paracetamol to ur baby for fever.. Repeat the dose after 5-6 hours if fever comes again
