my baby boy is 7 weeks old he was born with 3.2 kg ..now his weight is 4.5 kg should I give formula milk on demand or every 2 hours even during the sleeping

A. actually I'm giving formula from birth..my breast milk supply is very less ...my question was should I feed him on demand or every 2 hours forcefully

A. There is no need of formula because a child should gain about 500 g in a month your child is gaining better than that in seven weeks of time your child has gained very very well so there’s no problem at all we can just continue with the breastfeed that you are giving to the child
