A. It's generally recommended to wait until a baby is at least 12 months old before introducing cow's milk as a primary drink. Before this age, a baby's digestive system may not be ready to handle the proteins and minerals found in cow's milk. For formula-fed infants, the Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) suggests continuing with infant formula until the baby is at least 12 months old. Formula provides essential nutrients that are crucial for a baby's growth and development. If you have concerns or considerations specific to your baby's health, it's always a good idea to consult with your pediatrician before making any changes to your baby's diet. They can provide personalized advice based on your baby's individual needs and development.
