Q.

My baby boy having fever since yesterday evening, given him crocin 8ml every 4 hours, temperature reduced again increased, Currently temperature is 102,please suggest can we give him Meftal, if yes what is the dose

A. Fever is when the temperature of the body goes above 99 degree fahrenheit and the safest medicine in such situation is paracetamol which can be repeated after 6 hours again if required in a proper dose . Alternative medicine can also bie tried if required like ibuprofen and mefenamic acid preparations. cold sponging of the whole body with tap water can be beneficial too to bring the temperature down .
