Q.

My baby boy gets lot of hiccups and sometimes he vomits when he get hiccups. Is it normal?

A. hiccups in children occur due to gas which is present in the stomach. during thxe feeding process child takes air along with milk and that air goes inside the stomach which irritates leading to hiccups. you have to offer feeding as well as do proper burping(for atleast 20 minutes) to decrease this problem and it is a self limiting problem
