My baby boy birth weight was around 3.7kg & after 1 month, he is around 4.2 kg. He is exclusively on breastfeed. Is it good weight gain?

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist2 years agoA. dear mum, a weight gain of 500 grams in a month is a healthy weight gain. for healthy weight gain, continue to exclusively breastfeed till 6 months complete. At one episode of breast feeding, feed from only one breast, so that baby receives fat rich hindmilk which will help in weight gain.
