Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 10 m old boy4 years agoA. the weight and growth of the child depends upon the died the child is taking as well as upon the genetic patterns so kindly meet your doctor who will tell you whether it is normal or whether any intervention is required from the doctor side

Hi See if the birth weight becomes three times by the age of 12 months and that would be an ideal weight gain for the child but since you have not mentioned the current weight and the birth weight of your child I would not be able to assist you any further you can definitely consult a paediatrician ones
