my baby 3months and 16days old nowadays is pooping between 2 or 3 days . and yesterday she got constipated and cried a lot while pooping. poop came in 3 form, 1st part is thick, 2nd is semi fluid and 3rd is loose. what to do? how can i train her to poop daily ?

Stool pattern of small children changes from time to time. 
It can be more than 7 times per day also and sometimes the child will not pass stool for 10 days also. 
The most important thing is the consistency of the stool and if it is Semi solid to solid or semi liquid then there is no need to worry about thex frequency as well as colour as well as the smell of the stool 
Also straining and crying while passing urine and stool is very normal.
 the cryingx of the child is due to colic pain and not due to constipation

hi dear... firstly such small kids poop pattern varies each day. they cannot be trained to poop everyday or at a particular time. also, I am assuming the baby is on breastfeed/formula only, as animal milk should not be given before the age of 1 year. in case you are using animal milk for her, please avoid. instead you could use formula milk such as dexolac, stage 1 would be appropriate for her as per her age. I used to supplement with this once in a while too when required for my daughter, in this age babies will poop once in 7 days also and that's fine unless they are in distress or too gassy. massage her everyday, apply hing water on navel to relieve her from constipation. it would be better as her gut develops.
