my baby 1yr 2m old baby, has 98.9 temperature is it fever?

DR SHIWAJIRAO PATILGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Hello, your baby boy is 14 months old and his body temperature is 98.8 degrees then it’s not a fever but hyper dynamic circulation and it doesn’t need any medicine but frequent breast feeding

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 10 m old girl4 years agoA. no it's not fever. baby on touch can have warm soles and head. It s a normal and healthy thing.
Check temperature at armpit level and if above 99 fahrenheit then we treat fever in babies.
Can give drops paracetamol like calpol / T 98 / Sumol as per ba y weight . Can be repeated every 6 hours .
