my 8 months old son is having loose motion as well as fever in intervals, is it because of the new teeth coming or due to some seasonal flu ? kindly suggest the best course of action.

yes loose motions can be due to teething phase.
kids tend to put everything in their mouth to chew on and get relief from itching in the gums caused by the erupting teeth, this leads to stomach infection and loose motions.
try to maintain proper cleanliness of the surrounding areas around your child to prevent such problems.
