my 8 months old baby fell from bed today and cried badly but went to sleep. pls suggest what should I do?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Any Fall injury specially head injury needs to be assessed properly . In any such case certain symptoms needs to be checked like loss of consciousness reccurrent vomiting or any abnormal moment or convulsions . Such case needs immediate medical intervention as there could be some internal injury . Otherwise application of ice locally to reduce the swelling and pain can be done along with some analgesic like paracetamol.
Recurrent fall injury for fra child should be avoided as it can lead to some chronic manifestations occasionally .
Also teeth injury should be rule out in any sufch case which is commonly associated and can be easily missed out most of the time .
