Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are  usually associated .
Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine .
As a home remedy steam inhalation would be very useful .
Medicines like wikoryl / tminic / Alex cold can be usgyyed  in a proper dose  for 3-5 days as per the symptoms .g
Steam inhalation is repeated frequently .

Hello dear parent, Upu should give her paracetamol as the temperature reaches 100 degrees and above. Do not give before the temperature reaches 100 degrees. Also viral fever take 5 to 5 days to fully go away.  Stay in touch with your paediatric for any medicine required.
