A. Dribbling of urine 2–3 times a day in a 7-year-8-month-old boy could be a sign of a minor bladder control issue or urinary tract irritation. It may happen due to incomplete emptying of the bladder, mild urinary tract infection (UTI), constipation, or sometimes habitual holding of urine. It’s important to ensure your child is drinking enough water, not holding urine for too long, and going to the toilet regularly. If the dribbling continues, is accompanied by pain, fever, or changes in urine color or smell, or happens during sleep, it’s advisable to consult a pediatrician for a urine test and evaluation to rule out any underlying issues.
