A. Hie Arundhati.. the baby will need to wear thick glasses and do patching for several hours in a day. Surgery is just a small step.. Your hard work begins after the surgery

A. Hi mam, my baby also 7 months old and diagonesd with cataract. Pediatric ophthalmologist sugested surgergy. Kindly adivise what are the challages after surgery. will the baby be fixed artificial lens at this age or need to wear thick glass specs now.

A. Hi, Please do as Opthmalogist suggest. In most cases, there is no use to use spects. Doc will suggest you properly in this respect according to the severity of situation. There are many options in cataract like without spects, with spects etc. Ask your doc.
