Q.
my 6 months have a fever 101.7 armpit . please tell me what to do.she is feeding properly. fever is about 6 hours old.

ExpertDr. Mohammed imranPaediatrician4 years agoA. hello parent your kids six months old in case of temperature more than hundred degree fahrenheit you may give oral paracetamol drops along with tepid sponging with wet cloth maintain adequate hydration of the child monitor the urine output

Give paracetamol to ur baby as the fever is above 100 F.
Repeat the dose after six hours if fever comes again. If no other symptoms then no need to worry. Viral fever can take 3-5 days.
