Q.
My 6 months baby's head is hot but body is comparatively cool. The temperature taken in armpits reads 99°F. The doctor told me to give paracetamol oy when temperature is 100 or more. But my baby is very cranky today. What should I do? Is this fever or something else? Please suggest.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaFather of a 12 yr 2 m old boy4 years agoA. is a normal thing in babies do not worry and rest regarding your query e you can consult with your pediatrician and the doctor will guide you you properly e for the issue and accordingly you can follow the advice given by your doctor so take opinion

RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl4 years agoA. 99 Is mild fever so if your child is cranky or irritated you can give paracetamol to the child for the time being and if you need it again then you can repeat it after seven hours again and if it increases at any point of time then consult your doctor
