Q.

My 6 mnth and 2 week baby got running nose whenever he sleeps and due to this congestion he is unable to sleep...

A. nasal saline drop is safe or not..? giving it 34 times a day is safe..?

A. nasal saline drops can be given again and again to the child because it is salt water which will help in decreasing the nasal blockage by clearing the mucus try to prevent temperature variations around the child which is the most common cause of czough and cold in small children.can give indirect steam inhalation . anti-cold medicines at this age have got side effects so can be given only after medical consultation. for fever and pain give paracetamol continzue the regular diet which is being given to the child
