Q.

my 5 yr old boy have a fever,I feed him paracitamol,he immediately vomit it,can I feed him again now?

A. Fever is commonly seen in babies and mostly it's viral infection which is very common in children. But if fever is high grade and persisting or assosiated with specific symptoms than other causes should also be ruled out . Antipyretic like paracetamol or ibuprofen or mefenamic acid are usually given to reduce fever . Cold sponging with lukewarm water is also helpful . Doctor consultation by should be done if symptoms like excessive irritability dullness loscs of appetite less urine output is there .

A. If your child is vomiting after 10 to 15 seconds then there is no need of giving extra medicine to the child because the medicine that you are giving to the child will already start working in that case or no extradition is recommended to be given to the child and if your child is so uncomfortable with the medicine you can add some honey into itWrite Your Answer Here
